Minhua Lysandre was born and raised in southern China. From childhood, her mother introduced her to sewing, thread, and embroidery, while painting, music, and dance awakened her sensitivity to art and beauty at an early age. The gesture of the hand and the artistic gaze thus became two threads that would continually run through her life.

In 2010, she left China for France. In Paris, she trained at Studio Berçot in fashion design and pattern making, before earning an MBA in international luxury brand management at Sup de Luxe. Her journey also led her to the heart of the savoir-faire of major Parisian luxury Maisons, where the demand for precise gestures, intimate knowledge of materials, and the transmission of crafts deepened her relationship with her hands.

Living and creating in France led her to evolve between two cultures. The history, imagination, and restraint inherited from Chinese culture met the creative freedom, art, fashion, and French savoir-faire.

In 2016, after several years spent learning, observing, and creating in Paris, she founded LYSANDRE PARIS.

Painting shapes her perspective on line, color, and composition, while the work of her hands gives form to her imagination.

At the crossroads of art and savoir-faire, she develops a practice where the artist's gaze meets the precision of the hand.

Today, between Paris and Normandy, Minhua Lysandre navigates between two rhythms: the cultural energy of the city and a different relationship with time, shaped by nature and architecture. It is in this in-between that her world continues to be built.

Creation then extends beyond the work itself to gradually become a way of inhabiting the world.
